A mid difficulty climb with a splendid view.
The official difficulty rating of this route is C. The community rating fully matches the official difficulty.
The route has a difficulty rating of C and is relatively short (225 m). We do not recommend it for complete beginners, but sporty beginners accompanied by an experienced climber (on a rope) can manage it.
This is a very short local or training route. The approach takes 10 min, the actual climbing takes about 30 min and the descent takes 10 min. The whole activity can be completed in under an hour (approximately 50 minutes). Ideal for a quick workout after work.
This route is mainly a traverse. Although the secured section is 225 meters long, it only gains 30 meters of elevation. Most of the movement is sideways rather than vertical.
The route is physically demanding. The combination of difficulty C, length 225 m and elevation gain 30 m means you will spend more than 30 min on the rock and will need good upper-body strength.
The essentials are a certified via ferrata set (energy absorber), climbing helmet, climbing harness and sturdy footwear. Via ferrata gloves are also strongly recommended. Due to the difficulty level C, we recommend bringing a resting sling for safer and more comfortable breaks.
