Welcome to the ClimbPath application (hereinafter "the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Copyright and intellectual property
All materials in ClimbPath, including texts, images, maps, design elements, and data, are protected by copyright. Use is allowed only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any redistribution, modification, data mining, automated content extraction, or other use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
1.1 Via ferrata data
All via ferrata information, including route descriptions, terrain data, difficulty ratings, and safety information, is part of the App content and may be protected by copyright or database rights. Systematic copying, scraping, or external use without permission is prohibited. Users acknowledge that any content they add (e.g., ferratas, edits, comments) may be used, modified, and published within the App according to the License Terms.
1.2 Reviews and user content
Users are solely responsible for reviews, ratings, and comments. The operator is not responsible for their accuracy or completeness. By submitting content, users grant a license for its use within the App.
1.3 User-uploaded photos
Users must own or have rights to uploaded photos. By uploading, they grant the App a non-exclusive worldwide license to store, process, and publish the content within the App and related services.
1.4 Internal API and technical access
Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, API abuse, or bypassing security measures is strictly prohibited.
1.5 3D models and topographic data
All 3D models and mapping data are protected. Unauthorized extraction, reverse engineering, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
2. User account and registration
- Some features require registration.
- You agree to provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for account security.
- The operator is not responsible for unauthorized account use.
3. Location and GPS services
The App requires location access for core functionality such as tracking and nearby route discovery.
4. Code of conduct (Prohibited activities)
The following is strictly prohibited:
- Uploading illegal or harmful content.
- Sharing dangerous or false route information.
- Manipulating GPS data or tracking features.
- Spamming or fake reviews.
- Hacking or security breaches.
5. User-generated content
- Users can suggest new routes and submit reviews.
- The operator may edit or remove content.
- Users confirm they own uploaded photos.
- Users are responsible for legality of content.
6. Disclaimer
ClimbPath provides information about via ferratas and terrain.
- All activities are undertaken at your own risk.
- Route data is for informational purposes only.
- App does not replace proper equipment or experience.
- We are not liable for injuries, damage, or losses.
- No online system is fully secure.
7. Account deletion
We may suspend or delete accounts for violations without notice.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time.
