Viewpoint

Slunečná je nejtěžší z místních Doubraveckých ferátek. Začíná u řeky Berounky a vede prudce vzhůru, místy přímo nad vodou.

Oproti Hřebínku, Levce a Pravce už vyžaduje větší jistotu v lezení a dobrou práci s tělem.

Frequently asked
questions

The official difficulty rating of this route is C/D. The community rating fully matches the official difficulty.

Not recommended. The difficulty C/D (rated by the community as C/D) requires previous experience, strength and confidence on rock. A beginner could struggle and potentially block themselves or other climbers.

This is a very short local or training route. The approach takes 20 min, the actual climbing takes about 15 min and the descent takes 15 min. The whole activity can be completed in under an hour (approximately 50 minutes). Ideal for a quick workout after work.

This route is mainly a traverse. Although the secured section is 40 meters long, it only gains 10 meters of elevation. Most of the movement is sideways rather than vertical.

The route is technically and physically very demanding (difficulty C/D), but relatively short. It requires explosive strength and a strong grip, while overall endurance is less important.

The essentials are a certified via ferrata set (energy absorber), climbing helmet, climbing harness and sturdy footwear. Via ferrata gloves are also strongly recommended. Due to the difficulty level C/D, we recommend bringing a resting sling for safer and more comfortable breaks.
