Z vyhlídky uvidíš přehradu Vír, komín ferraty Uhelna i celé městečko Vír rozprostírající se v údolí řeky Svratky. Právě kombinace příjemného lezení, lanového mostu a krásných výhledů dělá z Ledové stěny jednu z nejzajímavějších ferrat v oblasti.

Pokud s ferratami teprve začínáš nebo si chceš užít krátký a zábavný výstup bez velké technické náročnosti, Ledová stěna rozhodně stojí za návštěvu.

The official difficulty rating of this route is B/C.

The route has a difficulty rating of B/C and is relatively short (60 m). We do not recommend it for complete beginners, but sporty beginners accompanied by an experienced climber (on a rope) can manage it.

This is a very short local or training route. The approach takes 5 min, the actual climbing takes about 18 min and the descent takes 10 min. The whole activity can be completed in under an hour (approximately 33 minutes). Ideal for a quick workout after work.

This route is exceptionally steep. The secured section measures 60 meters, during which you gain 85 meters of elevation. Expect a lot of vertical climbing and ladders.

The route is moderately demanding. With difficulty B/C and a length of 60 m, it will test your fitness, but an average fit hiker should manage it without major problems.

The essentials are a certified via ferrata set (energy absorber), climbing helmet, climbing harness and sturdy footwear. Via ferrata gloves are also strongly recommended. Due to the difficulty level B/C, we recommend bringing a resting sling for safer and more comfortable breaks.
