Ferrata Hluboká - Část B

500 m Length
50 min Climbing Time

60 min Approach
60 min Descent
5 m Elevation
Iron pegs

Ferrata měří přibližně 500 metrů a její zdolání zabere skoro hodinu.

I když ferrata není extrémně technická, delší délka a fyzická náročnost už dokážou potrápit, hlavně méně zkušené návštěvníky.

Frequently asked
questions

The official difficulty rating of this route is D. However, the climbing community rates it more like C/D.

Not recommended. The difficulty D (rated by the community as C/D) requires previous experience, strength and confidence on rock. A beginner could struggle and potentially block themselves or other climbers.

The actual climbing takes approximately 50 min. Also consider the approach from the parking area (60 min) and the descent (60 min). The total trip takes around 3 hours.

This route is mainly a traverse. Although the secured section is 500 meters long, it only gains 5 meters of elevation. Most of the movement is sideways rather than vertical.

The route is technically and physically very demanding (difficulty D), but relatively short. It requires explosive strength and a strong grip, while overall endurance is less important.

The essentials are a certified via ferrata set (energy absorber), climbing helmet, climbing harness and sturdy footwear. Via ferrata gloves are also strongly recommended. Due to the difficulty level D, we recommend bringing a resting sling for safer and more comfortable breaks.
