License Agreement and Copyright

1. Application Software License

The ClimbPath application (including backend source code, client web and mobile applications, architecture, and design) is proprietary software protected by copyright law. All rights are reserved by the project operator.

Users are granted only a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, copy source code, or distribute any part of it without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

2. Content and Database License

The structured via ferrata database, route descriptions, coordinates, difficulty ratings, original texts, 3D models, 3D topographic map data, and graphical elements are the intellectual property of ClimbPath.

This data is protected by database rights under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Automated downloading (scraping), data mining, indexing by AI agents including AI crawlers without permission, or any commercial reuse of this data in other guides, websites, or applications is strictly prohibited.

3. User-Generated Content

By uploading a review, text comment, or photograph from a via ferrata, the user declares that they are the author of the material or hold a valid license allowing its publication.

By uploading content, the user grants ClimbPath a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, and perpetual license to display, distribute, modify, technically process, and promote this content within the features of the Application. Copyright ownership remains with the user. ClimbPath is not responsible for any unauthorized downloading or further distribution of this media by third parties.

4. Third-Party Libraries and Open Source

The ClimbPath application respectfully uses certain open-source libraries and free third-party services. Below is an overview of these components and their respective license agreements:
